KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai strongly condemned a terrorist attack in the central province of Ghor that left tens of civilians dead and injured.
At least 13 people were killed and nearly 100 more wounded in Sunday attack.
Karzai denounced the attack as an oppressive act that shows a clear enmity to the people of Afghanistan and an effort to weaken the ongoing peace process.
He called on the Afghan sides of the war to avoid war and violence and speed up endeavors for peace negotiations.
The former president wished paradise for the killed and swift recovery for the wounded.
