KABUL: Health officials said Friday that 10 recent suspicious cases of coronavirus were tested negative after diagnosing in the laboratory.
Of 10 cases, five of them have been registered in capital Kabul, one in northern Baghlan and three cases in western Herat provinces. The blood symptoms of the suspicious people had been sent to the central laboratory, located in Kabul.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, Wahidullah Mayar said they received at least nine new suspicious cases from western Herat, adding that the results would be diagnosed by today (Saturday).
Only one positive coronavirus has so far tested positive in Afghanistan, according to health officials. Herat’s health officials say that the person affected by coronavirus, had arrived from Qom – a city in neighboring Iran and the source of virus outbreak in Afghanistan.
Iranian media outlets said that 22 of the corona affected people had died has yet. The novel coronavirus has first appeared in Wuhan city of China. The virus has so for claimed the life of over 2,500 people all over the world, but mostly in China.
There are many suspected cases have been reported that so far it all is tested negative.
