AT-KABUL: In the wake of the death of the notorious militant Haqqani Network leader, the intelligence operatives have arrested 11 loyalists of the group in Kabul.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives succeeded to arrest a group of 11 fighters of Haqqani Terrorist Network during an operation in Kabul said a statement issued by NDS.
Statement said that the group was involved, in subversive activities, laying mines and assassination of governmental officials and tribal figures in PD 5th and 12th in Paghman and Bagrami districts of Kabul, who were identified and detained by NDS Special Forces during crackdown.
The captured culprits named Momen Khan, Sardar Wali, Azizullah, Hamed, Mustafa, Mir Agha, Mohammad Rasoul, Nawab, Laal, Munir and Ehsanullah, who are currently under custody for further investigation, added statement.
One AK-47, one pistol with silencer, three self made mines, 300kg explosives and vehicle was discovered and seized from hideout of the terrorist group, underlined the statement.
