AT-KABUL: 11 members of a family were martyred after their car they were traveling in was hit by a militant planted roadside bomb in Achin of Nangarhar province.

The blast destroyed the car today morning at around 11:00am in Achin district of the province.

Six children and a woman are among the killed civilians, Nangarhar governor spokesman, Attaullah Khogyanai said.

The bomb was placed by militants he said without to specify name of the insurgent group. Nangarhar is home to both Taliban and Daesh fighters.
