KABUL: At least 12 Daesh fighters were killed during intelligence forces special unit crackdown in eastern Nangarhar province.
National Directorate of Security (NDS) special unit operatives have conducted clampdown in Jamal Khil, Dewana Baba, Kandaro and Chenar villages of Achin district in Nangarhar, which as result 12 Daesh loyalists were killed, said Nangarhar Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogianai.
He said that according to information a commander of Daesh and QaziWaliwullah Mansour were also killed among Daesh affiliates during operations.
Four strongholds and centers of Daesh fighters along with some light and heavy weapons also destroyed during operations, he added.
No casualty incurred to security forces and civilians during crackdown, he underlined.
