AT News Report-KABUL: At least 12 members of Islamic State (IS), which is also known as Daesh terrorist group have been killed in an airstrike carried out in eastern Nangarhar provinces in the past 24 hours, officials said Saturday.
Seven of them were killed in Haska Mina and five others in Achin and Nazian districts of Nangarhar, Provincial Governor Spokesman, Attaullah Khogianai told Afghanistan Times.
Civilians have received no casualties during airstrikes.
Moreover, he said that a mine maker of extremist groups was also killed by its own explosives materials in Ghani Khil district of the same province.
Explosives went off when the insurgent was engaged in making mines.
