AT-KABUL: Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Tuesday said that 13 drug runners were arrested during anti-narcotics crackdown within past 24 hours.

“Three smugglers and 10 drug retailers were apprehended during 16 anti-drug operation conducted by police in the past 24 hours,” said MoI in a statement.

Statement said that the drug runners and drugretailers were arrested in Kabul, Panjshir, Herat, Kandahar, Bamyan, Paktika, and Wardak provinces.

Statement said that police succeeded to discover and confiscate 22kg narcotics during operations as well.
