AT-KABUL: At least 15 armed Taliban fighters were killed 16 others were wounded in different crackdowns within past 24 hours.
In a press release issued here, Ministry of Defense (MoD) said that Afghan National Army (ANA) has conducted operations against insurgents in different areas of Zabul, Kandahar, Urzgan and Daykundi provinces. In these operations 15 rebels were taken out and 16 others injured.
A notorious Taliban commander Kochai was also killed, the statement added. The ministry also claimed of seizing huge cache of weapons in the operations.
