KABUL: Two civilians were gunned down on Tuesday morning on the outskirts of 11th police district of capital Kabul, an official said.
Brig. Gen. Humayun Aini, a senior official in the Ministry of Interior (MoI), told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place at 9:00am in front of Omar Farooq Mosque.
The attackers, he said were driving a Hilux vehicle without a registration number and shot two individuals dead. The slain persons were from Shakardara district of Kabul who were traveling in a Toyota Corolla car.
The attackers were in civilian clothes, he said, adding that investigations have been launched to ascertain facts. (PAN)
