AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A group of 2,300 military cadets have completed a training program at Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC), said officials on Sunday.
Training and logistic commander, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Hisari, told a gathering in Kabul that the young officers and soldiers have received training about different tactics of war and are well capable to defeat the enemy.
He said the Defense Ministry has enough troops and struggles to improve their skills to be prepared for coping with future challenges.
He urged the army cadets to use all their capacity in preventing civilian casualties and face the enemy bravely. He added that the graduates are better trained and equipped to serve the country.
The KMTC commander, Brig. Gen. Aminullah Patyani, said 700 of the of 2,300 graduates are officers who completed their four months training. “The remaining soldiers have completed their three months training,” he added.
It is said that the number of armed forces reached to 200,000, after the 2,300 officers and soldiers joined the ANA lines.
