KABUL: Twenty-five Afghan abductees have been freed following a clash between two gangs in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.
At least two people were killed as result of heavy gunfire traded between the groups in the Chaghai district of the province, Dawn reported.
The fire exchange happened when an armed group attacked a house in Maghribi bazaar area where the kidnapped Afghans were held for weeks.
Criminal gangs kidnapped for ransom the Afghan citizens, who tried to enter Iran illegally, the newspaper quoted a local security official as saying.
