AT-KABUL: At least 25 Haqqani Terrorist Network members were Killed in a Joint Clearance Operation conducted by Afghan forces in Paktika.
“ 25 Haqqani Terrorist Network members were killed and 30 others wounded in Afghan National Defense and Security Forces joint clearance operation carried out in Tandi Hotel and Wali Was regions, Giyan district of the Paktika province, yesterday, said a press statement issued by the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Statement said that weapons and vehicles belonging to the Haqqani Terrorist Network were also destroyed during the operation.
No ANDSF and civilian were harmed during operation in the district, added statement.
The Afghan National Defense and Security Forces have stepped up Counter-Terrorism operations to suppress the insurgency activities of the terror groups, concluded statement.
