KABUL: At least 26 Taliban insurgents have been killed during an airstrike conducted in northern Takhar province, official said Wednesday.

Afghan Air Forces (AAF) conducted airstrike in Darqad and Khwaja Bahawdin districts, in which 26 Taliban militants were killed and another wounded, Afghanistan Operational Coordination Group (AOCG) – Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement.

According to the ministry, a recruitment and control center of Taliban militants with one vehicle of the enemy also destroyed during airstrike.
