Afghan security forces launched a string of joint military operations across the country, killing 29 militants and wounding 15 others over past day, according to military officials
Afghan forces have also arrested five rebels and handed them over to courts for further inquiries.
ANDNSF targeted enemy strongholds and hideouts with air strikes and artilleries.
Ministry of Defense (MoD) issued in a statement released today, that ANDNSF along with Afghan Air Force (AAF) has conducted multiple organized and joint clearing military crackdown in Paktika, Ghazni, Zabul, Kandahar,Baghlan, Farah, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces.
Statement added that during these military raids nine insurgents were killed in Posht rood district of Farah, nine militants were killed 10 others injured and four militants along with some weapons and ammunitions were captured in Darayam, Arghankhwab and Tagab district of Badakhshan, seven Taliban fighters were killed and seven other wounded in Khakriz and Shah Wali koot district of Kandahar and four militants were killed and two motorbike destroyed in Andar district of Ghazni province.
Afghan National Forces conducted six organized and aggressive military operations, 91 special mission and Air Force launched 94 mission including two air strikes in the past 24 hours.
