AT News Report-KABUL: Two suicide car bombers killed three people and wounded eight others on Saturday morning in southern Helmand province
A car bomber detonated its laden explosive near a security forces organ in 2nd district of Laghkargah city in southern Helmand today at around 9:40am, Helmand governor spokesman Omar Zwak said.
He said that seven people including one security officer was wounded in the incident. The wounded were rushed to the nearby hospital.
Meanwhile Ministry of Defense (MoD) in a statement said that another suicide attack took place in Nadali district targeted army forces, which as result two army forces killed and one wounded.
MoD also confirmed killing of one people and wounded of seven others in the car bomber in Lachkargah city center of Helmand Province.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, the group so called spokesman Qari Yousof Ahmadi in a statement said that the attack was conducted by their fighter.
