AT-KABUL: The Afghan security forces in different crackdowns across the country during past 24 hours, had killed 33 insurgents and injured 35 other militants, security officials said on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) in a press statement, said that the security forces conducted operations against insurgents in different areas of Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Logar, Ghazni, Wardak, Kandahar, Zabul, Badghis, Jauzjan, Balkh, Faryab, Baghlan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Four militants were also arrested during operations, the statement added.
“Unfortunately, seven army soldiers were killed during operations,” the statement added.
