KABUL: The Afghan security forces have foiled 35 terrorist attacks, including a car bombing which could be deadly with once again taking more innocent lives in Kabul, the capital city.
Officials in the Ministry of Interior confirmed Friday of successfully prevention of these attacks during three days of Eid-ul Fitr.
Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the militants planned to carry out 35 attacks in Kabul city during Eid days.
However, he said the security forces successfully prevented these terror acts and also they (Security Forces) confiscated a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) or car bomb in Kabul city.
Moreover, according to Rahimi, the security forces also thwarted 70 other attacks across the country during these days.
