AT News Report-KABUL: At least 43 militants have been killed and 16 others received injures in different crackdowns carried out by the Afghan security forces across the country in the past 24 hours, security forces said on Friday.
These operations from ground-and-air, were launched in Nangarhar, Kapisa, Parwan, Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Ghor, Badghis, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz, Badakhshan, and Helmand provinces, in which 43 insurgents were killed and 16 wounded.
The Ministry of Defense in a statement said, 22 militant were killed, and 13 others wounded and several hideouts destroyed in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province.
According to statement, 10 Taliban insurgents were killed in the Greshk district of southern Helmand province, and eight in the Giru district of Ghazni. Moreover, four insurgents killed in the Ahmad Aba town of Paktika, while three of the wounded.
