AT-KABUL: At least 43 Taliban fighters including three commanders were killed and 14 others wounded during air and ground operation in southern Helmand province.
These Taliban were killed and injured by Afghan forces through air and ground raid carried out last night in Nad Ali, Marja and Grishk districts of Helmand province, said governor press office in a statement.
Counter triggering offensive going on in Nadali district to clear the district from Taliban, statement added.
Tens of Taliban fighter attacked Nad Ali district to capture the district, but faced Afghan forces resistance and suffered casualties.
