AT-KABUL: National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday said that 64 insurgents were killed during Afghan forces raid in the past 24 hours.
“ Intelligence forces has conducted 21 operation jointly with Afghan army and police forces in different provinces, which as result 64 Taliban fighters including six Daesh affiliates were killed,” said a press statement issued by NDS.
Statement said that 54 other Taliban fighter sustain injuries during operations.
Eight rebels including one Haqqani network terrorist were arrested during raids, added statement.
One smuggler were arrested in the operation as well, noted statement.
Eleven rifles of different weapons discovered and confiscated during operation, mentioned statement.
