AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Saturday claimed arrest of three terrorists and destroying a terrorist training center in southern Zabul province.
In a media statement issued here, the NDS said that in a joint operation its operatives succeeded in nabbing three terrorists on Zabul-Kandahar highway.
The detained terrorists were in a training center. After arrest of the suspected terrorists the security forces destroyed the training center in the area.
Besides training, decision had been taken in the center to plant landmines on Zabul-Kandahar highway under bridges and target passengers in the area, the statement said.
The spy agency also seized huge cache of ammunition from the center.
