AT-KABUL: The court of Criminal Justice Task Force (CJTF) on Sunday said that 31 drug runners were arrested though different operations in the past one month.
A press statement issued here the CJTF said that 31 smugglers were apprehended by the Counter Narcotics Police through different crackdown in Nangarhar, Herat, Kabul, Logar, Parwan and Kunduz provinces.
After primary investigation, the detained drug traffickers were handed over to CJTF for criminal proceedings.
Some 1208 kg of Heroin, 1500 kg morphine, 1430 kg of opium, 18668 kg hashish, 20 kg precursor and 810 liters of alcoholic beverages recovered and confiscated from the abovementioned smugglers, mentioned the statement.
It is worth to be mention that 32 drug traffickers were arrested and handed over to judiciary organs for inquiry in previous month.
