In a press release, Ministry of Defense (MoD) said that the security forces conducted operations against the insurgents in different areas of Baghlan, Uruzgan and Helmand provinces. “In these operations, eighteen militants were killed,” the statement said. The statement added that the security forces also arrested five suspects including an individual involved in kidnapping cases from Sar Hawaza area of Paktika province.
