AT-Kabul: President Ashraf Ghani performed the Umrah in the Mecca and prayed for durable peace, stability and national unity of Afghanistan, his office said Saturday.
Ghani arrived in Jeddah International Airport after performing the Umrah, praying for martyrs of security and defense military forces who killed in the recent terrorist suicide attack in Kabul and prayed for rapid recover of the injuries.
A statement issued by presidential office said Ghani also in the religious ceremony prayed for lasting peace, stability and national unity of Afghanistan.
