AT-KABUL: At least 50 terrorist killed in airstrike in northern Badakhshan province, said officials.
Afghan airstrike targeted terrorist hideouts in Raghistan district of Badakhshan province, which resulted at killing of 50 insurgents and wounding of 12 others in the district, said Ministry of Defense.
The insurgents were involved to different terrorist and subversive activities in the district, so by killing of them security will return to the district.
Badakhshan is one of the northern most insecurity provinces, where beside Afghan Taliban stranger fighters including Tajiks and Chechens carry out terrorist activities.
