AT-KABUL: The Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul on Wednesday rejected media reports that said those Afghan visitors who have Indian visas in their passports were denied entry into Pakistan or deported.
In a press statement, the embassy said: “This is to clarify that the Government of Pakistan has no such policy which bars any Afghan national from entering Pakistan for having visa of any other country including India. All Afghans having valid Pakistani visa are entitled to travel to Pakistan.”
On Tuesday, some media reports quoted the director of the Hamid Karzai International Airport, Mohammad Asif Jabbarkhel, as saying that “over the past few days Pakistan had deported or denied entry to at least 10 Afghans” after finding Indian visas in their passports.
