AT- KABUL: The security forces prevented a suicide attack Sunday, arresting the bomber before he could reach his goal, the National Directorate of Security said.
“The intelligence operatives managed to arrest a suicide bomber in Jalalabad city,” the agency said in a statement, referring to the provincial capital.
It added that the bomber was linked to the Daesh terrorist group and planned to blow himself up at a crowded area.
The statement said that the arrested indict had received military training from Daesh fighters in Achin district and was involved in different subversive activities in the district.
By arrest of mentioned suicide bomber the security forces managed to prevent a bloody incident, which would cause killing and wounded of innocent people in the province.
