President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan says that the United States of America is an essential and important strategic partner to Afghanistan in development of the country and fighting terrorism.
“The Government of Afghanistan hopes that in close cooperation with the new President of the United States, relations between the two countries expand further and develop in a way that is in the interest of the two countries and nations” presidential palace said in a statement.
