AT-KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai expressed his deep grief over the demise of Hajji Gul Ahmadzai, a tribal elder who passed away due to an illness he was suffering from.
Karzai added that late Hajji Gul Ahmadzai belonged to a noble family in Paktia province and he had made significant efforts for the national unity during immigration.
Karzai extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and said: “His death is a big tragedy for Afghanistan.”
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace, enter him to paradise and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
