AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The German police have arrested a Taliban commander identified as Abdullah who is accused of killing of 16 American and Afghan soldiers, German media reported on Wednesday.
Notorious commander Abdullah, 30, old has been taken in custody in southern Bavaria province of Germany during an investigation on March 23, local media said.
German attorney office said that Abdullah had joined the Taliban insurgent group in 2002 and was appointed as the militants’ commander in 2004.
The commander was involved in a terrorist attack, carried out against a convoy of American and Afghan soldiers which was resulted in killing of at least 16 US and Afghan soldiers, the source said.
