AT News Report-KABUL: Terrorists loyal to the Daesh (Islamic State) kidnapped eight farmers in eastern Nangarhar provinces late Saturday, said officials.
Nangarhar Provincial Council Member Zabihullah Zemarai said that eight farmers were kidnapped by Daesh fighters in Haska Meena district of Nangarhar yesterday late evening.
He said that no clear reason is behind the abducted of farmers.
Although there is no clue till date that where the abducted farmers taken, but likely they might have been taken by Daesh to a mountainous areas, he added.
He said that tribal elders hold efforts to mediate and release the kidnapped farmers from Daesh.
It word mentioning that 14 civilian including 12 religious teachers and two education employees were kidnapped by Daesh militants in Haska Mina district around two months ago and were released back recently after 40 days in lock up.
