AT-KABUL: At least five people-mostly civilians- were killed and three others were injured after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives in central part of Kabul city Wednesday afternoon officials said.
The bomber carried out the attack just outside the Exit gate of the Administrative Affairs Office of the presidential palace on a main and busy road in Police District two of Kabul city, when government officials were leaving their office for homes.
At least five people were “martyred and three more were injured” Najib Danish, spokesman of the Interior Ministry told Afghanistan Times.
The injured were moved to hospitals, and investigation teams were arrived in the area to determine the details of the attack that happened in rush hour of the day, Kabul Police Spokesman, Basir Mujahid said.
The so-called Daesh or the ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
