AT-KABUL: Taliban spokesman Qari Yousaf Ahmadi in an email calculating statistics and figures of Taliban’s fight over the past ten years has said, since 2006 till 2017, the Taliban insurgent groups have carried out 103,927 operational activities against Afghan government personnel and foreign troops.
This includes 1,075 suicide attacks. These attacks have resulted in destroying of 50,733 vehicles and tanks. Moreover, 551 airplanes have been destroyed during the various operations, conducted by the Taliban insurgents.
He furthered that during these period 48,152 foreign troops were killed and 32,010 others sustained injuries. He added that 155,080 internal Afghan stooges had been killed and 97,631 others wounded.
He went on saying in his email that Taliban have lost 11,974 insurgents of the Islamic Emirate and 13,261 others had been sustained deep injuries. He added that 1,276 vehicles of Islamic Emirate have also been destroyed during the various operations. He said that the statistics and figures of the operational activities have been published in Al-Samood magazine of the Islamic Emirate.
