AT Monitoring DesK-KABUL: A tribal elder has been killed and two others received injuries after their vehicle struck to a roadside bomb in Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Sunday.
Provincial Governor Spokesman, Attullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News that a tribal elder Sherin Agha was killed and his two colleagues—Taj Mohammad and Lal Mohammad received injures after their vehicle hit with a roadside mine in Barar Ghach area of the district.
They were heading toward Jalalabd city when the incident took place, he added. However, according to local health officials, one of the wounded is going through tense situation.
According to another report, Nangarhar police spokesman, Hazrat Hussian Mashriqiwa, said that security forces seized a motorcycle bomb in the 7th police district of Dowa Sarkey area of Jalalabad on Saturday night. The cycle was parked for terrorist attack. No one has so far arrested in connection with the incident.
