AT-KABUL: Afghan National Police has foiled Taliban attempt to block strategic road in Northern Baghlan provinces.
“A group of armed Taliban struggled to block a road leading from the capital of Baghlan provinces to Shashma-e-Shir region yesterday, which faced Afghan police raid in the area,” said Ministry of Interior in a statement.
Six armed Taliban were killed and 11 other armed Taliban were wounded following an attack by police, added statement.
During this incident, no ANP and civilian were harmed.
After Taliban failing in face to face fight in battle ground, struggle to block roads, destroy electricity lines in order to bring pressure over civilians and government, but fortunately their plans foil by brave Afghan forces.
