AT News Report-KABUL: At least eight terrorists affiliate with the Daesh group were killed and four others wounded in eastern Kunar province, officials said Sunday.
According to a statement issued by Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that last night, a group of Daesh terrorists launched coordinated attacks on Afghan National Police checkpoints in Shagi region, Assad Abad City capital of eastern Kunar province.
Statement said that Afghan National Police have repulsed the attack in which eight Daesh terrorists were killed and four other Daesh terrorists were wounded.
Afghan National Police seized two rockets, two AK-47 rifles and some amount of ammunition as well, statement added.
During this incident, two Afghan national policemen wounded and no civilian was harmed, concluded the statement.
