AT News Report-KABUL: Afghan forces have raided three villages and pushed back Taliban militants during joint military operations in central eastern Ghazni province.
Afghan National Police (ANP) in cooperation with Afghan National Army (ANA) and National Directory of Security (NDS) forces conducted clearance operation in Ab Band district of Ghazni, which as result three villages have been cleared from Taliban, said a statement issued by Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Statement said that 14 Taliban fighters were killed and seven others were wounded during operations.
Number of dead bodies of the enemy left in battle fields, statement added.
One rocket launcher, five motorbikes with some ammunition also seized by Afghan forces during operations, noted statement.
Statement said that the operation have been conducted, while Taliban were gathered in Atak village and were planning to conducted terrorist attack in Ab Band district of Ghazni.
