AT News Report-KABUL: Four fighters loyal to the notorious terrorist group of the Islamic State (IS), which is also known as Daesh rebels, have been killed by their won bomb in the Chapa Dara district of eastern Kunar province, official said.
A key commander of the extremist group, are among the killed four militants.
Brig. Gen. Mirwais Sapi, a military commander based in the province, said the explosion took place in the Digal village of the district lat on Wednesday.
He said four Daesh militants, including a commander named Musafar, were killed when one of the landmines they were planting went off prematurely.
Daesh insurgents have lately ramped up operations in the province, bordering Pakistan’s lawless tribal region of Bajaur.
