AT News Report-KABUL: Afghan forces have captured an IS affiliate in charge of persecutions in eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday, local officials said. Alongside him, two more IS affiliates were arrested while securing his escape into their safe haven.
“A Daesh affiliate clad in women’s wear has been captured in Yagi Band area of Haska Mina district in Nangarhar during an army’s search operation,” said Nangarhar provincial police spokesperson.
Hazrat Husain Mashriqiwal said security forces have also arrested two others who were taking him to a Daesh stronghold.
The Daesh local in-charge was identified to be Monawar, a resident of Laghman province.
