AT-KABUL: Kabul police say criminal incidents have been intensified in Kabul, the capital city. The police have so far detained 82 individuals suspected in several criminal activities including murder and car robbery.
Murder and robbery cases have been increased, Mohammad Daoud Amin Kabul Police Chief said, indicating the holy month of Ramandan with more cases.
However, he assured of efforts which is on full swing to reduce the level of criminal incidents in the city.
But, the current uncertainty has raised concerns among Kabul residents with coming hard over what they say failure of the government in maintaining peace and security at least in Kabul by preventing criminal incidents.
“Insecurity has reached its peak in recent months even the residents can’t walk safely in the city,” said Najib, a Kabul resident.
“It’s a shame for the government that cannot maintain the security of the citizens,” another resident of Kabul Yahya told Ariannews.
According to residents, Kabul will be change into a horrific city if the fragile situation prevails.
