AT-KABUL: The Grand National Coalition of Afghanistan, an alliance of several political parties, has warned it would not obey the government anymore.
In a statement, the coalition said Sunday that if the government did not meet its demands its followers would close the doors of electoral commissions. It accused the government of fraud conspiracy and eradicating democracy.
The members of the alliance suggested third Bonn Conference, interim administration and Loya Jirga as the options to replace the government if the current government refused to hold transparent election.
The coalition claimed that the interim administration was offered by the United States and the European Union, while Taliban have suggested a 10-article precondition to establish the interim administration including appointing of impartial persons as security ministers.
The coalition said their “civil movements” would begin three provinces in the near future to be followed by their fans in other areas.
The coalition said it would support statements by other political parties that are opposing the government’s programs and policies.
