Deputy Spokesman for President Shah Husain Murtazawi in his twitter said that killing of Daesh leader in Nangarhar is clear sign of strict combat of Afghan government against terrorism.

He said that Daesh has suffered hardly in Afghanistan.

Responding to question regarding Daesh leader killing the Public Affairs Officer of
Resolute Support O’DONNELL, Martin L. in a statement said that I can confirm that U.S. forces conducted a counterterrorism strike, August 25, in Khugyani district, Nangarhar province, which targeted a senior leader of a designated terrorist organization.

I would also add that the United States unrelentingly continues its counterterrorism efforts against ISIS-K, Al-Qaeda, and other regional and international terrorist groups.

These efforts are unlike the nationwide Afghan-led offensive targeting Taliban irreconcilables who refuse to listen to the calls of the Afghan people for them to take the courageous step towards peace and reconciliation.  These efforts target the real enemies of Afghanistan, the same enemies who threaten America.

Based on report Saad Erhabi was the fourth leader of Daesh for Afghanistan, who killed last night. The first leader of Daesh for Afghanistan was Hafiz Saeed, Second was Abdul Hasib and the third leader of Daesh for Afghanistan was Abu Saeed Bajawori.

It is pertained to mention that Daesh are actively operating in different district of Nangarhar and recently they have increased their attacks in Jalalabad city capital of the volatile province.
