Afghan Special Forces have rescued six Afghan Army soldiers from a Taliban jail in central Maidan Wardak province on Sunday night.
Afghan Special Forces have conducted an operation in Jaghato district of Maidan Wardak province last night, which as result six army soldiers freed from a Taliban lock up, said a press statement issued by Ministry of Defense (MoD).
Statement said that 11 Taliban fighters were also killed during operation in the district.
No Afghan special forces harmed during crackdown in the district, underlined the statement.
