KABUL: Taliban’s shadow district chief for the Aab Kamari district has been killed along with a crowd of militant fighters in northwestern Badghis province, the Ministry of Interior said Saturday.
“Mullah Noor Agha, Taliban‘s shadow governor for the Aab Kamari district was killed along with his eight fighters in a clash with the police forces on Friday night,” said statement carried by the interior ministry.
The infamous Mullah Noor Aghais believed to have played a key role in orchestrating and organizingterrorist activities in the Aab Kamari and other areas in Badghis province.
EightTaliban terrorists sustained injuries in the exchange of fire with Afghan forces, it asserted.
“No civilians and policemen were harmed in the fierce firefight with the militants,” it said.
