AT News Report-KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai, met Saturday with a number of students who are going to continue higher education in the universities of Russian Federation.
These students are going to Russia with the help of Karzai Foundation that has provided them with scholarships.
Karzai advised the students that as the ambassadors from Afghanistan in the Russian universities, they had to represent their country with good moral and behavior.
“I ask you to study hard and come back home well educated because Afghanistan’s power and dignity is related to our educated youth,” Karzai addressed the students in his office.
The Karzai Foundation has provided scholarships to 90 students since its beginning of activity three years ago. They were sent to the universities of Russia, China, India and Bangladesh.
