AT-KABUL: The Afghan security forces on Tuesday killed eight Taliban fighters in a clash erupted between them in southern Paktika province, security official said.
The clash took place in Chali region Sharan, the capital city of Paktika, in which the Afghan National Police (ANA) killed eight Taliban insurgents, Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
The security forces also seized three AK-47 rifles and three vehicles after the battle ended.
According to interior ministry no civilian and ANP member received casualties in the skirmish.
