KABUL: The Independence Directorate of Local Governance announced on Monday that Mujeeb Rahman Samkanaihas been appointed governor of southern Paktika province.
President Ashraf Ghani has ordered Samkanai’s appointment with the recommendation of independent directorate of local governance.
Samkanaihas a master’ degree who has worked as a representative of Paktika for the lower house and served as an advisor to the secretariat cabinet, said independent directorate of local governance.
The dismissed governor Ilyas Wahdat has been praised by independent directorate of local governance for his good work and rule to promote Paktika.
