KABUL: Police in Kabul said Tuesday that it has arrested nine drug peddlers in an anti-narcotics raid in Kabul city, a clampdown that began almost a month ago against drug kingpins and peddlers in the capital.
Kabul Police said in a statement that Counter Narcotics Police launched raids in 1st, 3rd, 6th, 10th, 12th jurisdictions of Kabul as well as Bagrami district, arresting nine drug sellers and busting small-scale drug sales.
Some 314g hashish, 34g heroin and 45g crystal discovered and seized from the arrested drug dealers, added statement.
The detained drug peddlers handed over to related organs for further inquiry.
