KABUL: The Kabul police on Tuesday detained three suspects on the charge of killing a driver, security official said. According to police, a corolla driver was murdered in Chahar Qala in PD 6th inside his vehicle on Sunday.
Shortly after the incident, police started operation to find the perpetrators and in coordination with the PDs 5 and 6 and police headquarters succeeded to arrest three suspects in connection to the killing of the driver.
The arrested suspects named Ehsanullah, Asghar and Abdul Wali, who were arrested and further investigation is going on over the case.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation police managed to arrest two persons with 55 different types of rifles in PD 13 of Kabul city.
The seized weapons included 15 AK-47 with seven magazines, 39 pistols with 71 magazines with some other ammunition.
Also Afghan Counter-Narcotics Special Operation Police discovered and seized 39 pistols during a search operation at the gate of Pul-e-Charkhi, Kabul city on Monday.
