KABUL: NATO Secretary-General says the Daesh terrorist group has several different organizations in Afghanistan, arguing that war on terror has not ended in the country.
Jens Stoltenberg, however, says that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization had been successful in suppressing the terrorist group.
He added that Daesh is still active in the region including northern Afghanistan.
The NATO chief’s statement on Daesh comes as Afghanistan government claims the terrorist group was defeated in the country.
